The Matrix Reloaded takes the #1 spot for most tickets sold before a film’s premiere

(Hollywood, CA – May 19, 2003) – today announced that it has sold 879,196 tickets, representing over $7.1 million in sales, for Warner Bros. The Matrix Reloaded. The highly anticipated blockbuster film also sold more tickets on before its premiere than any other film in the site's history and is on pace to become the all-time best ticket seller. has been selling advance tickets for The Matrix Reloaded since May 1, 2003.
